A leadership message can sound clear in the room and still leave everyone with a different understanding of what happens next.
Before an important message goes out, people need to know the decision, why it matters, what changes, what stays the same, who owns the next move, and when they will hear more. Afterward, the leader still has to confirm that people understood the message well enough to act on it.
Before the message goes out
I built the Leadership Communication Checklist around those questions. It includes a worked example, a before-message review, and a final check for shared understanding.
